Anakver & Anna Coranic & Lofn

Anna coranic

Anna Coranić (earlier used nicknames Anna Myschkin / KinA / Anakver) is a dj, singer, composer and producer based in Prague.

As a dj she has played in many clubs and festivals (fe: Lunchmeat festival) in Czech republic, presented herself on Shape platform in 2017, shared her vibes with on the dancefloor in Spain and in Germany too (Ghosts* @ :/about blank). She shared a stage with many world know artists such as Dasha Rush, Orphx, Blazej Malinowski, Stephanie Sykes, OAKE etc.

She is a co-founder of DUNA conceptual audio-visual events and podcasts (these days due to her busy schedule in hibernation mode.)

It’s clear where the qualities of her style comes from – ethereal, almost-sacral, drone-ish, soothing yet uneasy. In parallel to collaborating with others, Anna has always been developing a sound of her own – and started focusing on solo performances very recently.

anakver

Anakver is no longer active collab, so I have decided to move to a new moniker Anna Coranić, that unites all my music activities across production, singing or djing.

lost diary (of your (alter) ego)

This live set was composed as a special live set for Transforma festival in summer 2022 and then premiered as an audiovisual live performance during Signals festival 2022 in Berlin.

The idea behind Lost Diary of Your (Alter) Ego stands on several foundations. It’s the puzzle of the ego thing, asking how artistic creative process is linked to phantasy and building alter ego stories, that can seems to be real at the end. And on the other hand we put the individual level of ego facing the world today. The world that is collapsing melting glaciers, burning forests, global warming, less fresh water, species in mortal danger.

This can be a message that you will never hear or see. The letter that will never get to the recipient. Recordings, caught up moments, memories, dreams and messages of you and me, them and it, the ego or the alter ego and Johny Depp too...lost in times, where the world remain in pieces. What will remain after the world will burn out? What is real? Sound explorations of how this can look like. Imagine to be a wittness of the collapse, to see and listen to the Lost Diary of Your (Alter) Ego, to feel arctic glaciers to melt while listening to message in the bottle read by AI. Surprisingly this is the climax of the narrative, where oscillating between the „real” and „unreal” or „virtual” is meant to be even. And then, there can be „nothing”...

FEA BY OBLAKA FEAT. ANNA CORANIĆ

One of my favourite czech producers Ladislav Zensor aka Exhausted Modern released lately his new album HACE under the moniker Oblaka and I’m happy to be part of this. I enjoyed the work on the vocals for FEA very much.

„The end of the world was never this fruitful.” - FORBIDDEN at Lunchmeat #ons 2019
